Job Description
Coordinate Technical Publications and Document Control groups consistent with the goals and objectives of the department. Responsible for developing the work execution methodology and development of standard work instructions. Research and review engineering design drawings, engineering orders, and related technical data defining component/assembly modifications and determine their effect on technical manuals and publications such as EMM, CIR, IPC, AMM, CMM etc. This include:
- Studying the supplied inputs
- Requesting additional information if required, from engineering (Query management).
- Scheduling planning, task allocation & progress tracking
- Quality review of the Documents for formatting correctness presentation
- Quality review of the Documents for Technical correctness and language checks
- Release Audits of the deliverables to make sure that the product followed all the process defined in the plan
Preparing checklists as per the project requirements to validate and verify the quality documents. Ensure that all quality metrics are within the agreed parameters. Errors discussion, mentoring, record new learnings, prepare skill gap analysis. Preparation of training modules and imparting the training to the new team members.
